The Philippine Stock Index Fund (“PSIF”) was incorporated on December 11, 2002 as an open end investment company. The Fund was created as an index tracker fund of the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite Index (PSEi). To date, it is the only index tracker fund that fully replicates the PSEi.
The investment objective of the PSIF is to mimic the performance of the PSEi by investing in exactly the same securities and in the same weights as in the Index.
The PSIF is suitable to investors who seek long term capital growth, or those who want to track the performance of the PSEi.
